It’s an MMO that embraces the psychology of the current average MMO gamer. Black Desert has been, in my opinion, the only true success story this year and I believe there’s a reason for that. Black Desert Online officially released, Twin Saga disappointed us, Otherland left us asking, “Why?” Riders of Icarus rose to the challenge of replacing Dragon’s Prophet in North America, Blade & Soul had a good start but faltered, and Tree of Savior has received ‘mixed’ user reviews on Steam. A (small) handful of interesting MMOs came out.
